Here is a video of the prototype working

A Demo of the Pulse Engine at work

The noise in the background you can sometimes hear is a small compressor for art spray painting. This was shot in Adam's Garage Sun 06/07/2008 .

The prototype is a 2 stroke whipper snipper motor that I have stripped down and cut the top of the cylinder off so you can see the piston moving. I am using the breather that works under the piston in a two stroke to demontrate its functionality.

I could have similar results by replacing the head and pumping air into the spark plug socket using he pin valve to time the release of Air see the photos below.

I am also considering an electric valve that runs from the spark plug lead and is triggered by the distributor like a spark would be.

You can see that it is very rough but runs fine when started it needs some refinements and some timing from the pin valve. But despite that this shows without doubt that it is possible to pulse any piston engine right now its only a matter of solving some installation issues.

It really works!

Pin Valve instead. You can see the actuator in the top of the inside. It would be activated by the pison moving up and hitting it at TDC(Top Dead Centre) releasing a burst of pressure forcing the piston down and closing the valve.
